What will you experience?
You will enter a world where there is no stage and you are in the show, discovering yourself through a series of riddles, trials and tribulations. Meander through the depths of the historic San Francisco Mint along with Zoe Jakes and the House Of Tarot cast to uncover your personal destiny.
For those who dare to complete the journey, you will be greeted with a debaucherous celebration of music, dance and performance featuring Zoe Jakes, the House Of Tarot cast, and a full stage performance by Beats Antique at surprise moments throughout the evening. Each room is another adventure as Beats Antique presents their most intimate performance ever. Enter a singular experience with a smaller audience, and explore the unusual beauty of the San Francisco Mint while perhaps brushing shoulders with Beats Antique… or maybe that was just a trick of the light…
You will enter the House Of Tarot experience at a select time slot for your intimate initiation ceremony (maximum 30 people per entrance). After the ceremony you are free to roam The Mint to discover your destiny and learn the mysteries of the House Of Tarot. Entrances are split into Group 1 and Group 2. If you need to enter at a different hour from the rest of your party you can join them for the remainder of your experience so long as your tickets are part of the same group.

10 years ago, while poring over a favorite deck of Tarot cards, Zoe Jakes was inspired to create a work of art as powerful as the cards themselves. Finally, after years of creative process, House of Tarot has been created, placing the captivating energy of the Tarot deck onto members of the belly dance community. House of Tarot is true performance art, a mutable dance theater performance imbued with ritual and the mysteries of Fate.

You can’t know Beats Antique until you’ve been a part of its journey, and experienced the act as an entity with a life of its own. A stage show that demands more music; music that needs costumes, ships and masks and shadow dances; an audience that comes for art, and takes away stories to feed their imagination.
Commitment to the full performance art form is how Beats Antique fuses musical worlds, pulling on global sounds for experiments on the fringes of cinematic cabaret, informed by electronic mash-ups and inspirations who have joined them on the journey such as Les Claypool, Alam Khan, The Glitch Mob, Too Many Zooz and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
About Zoe Jakes
Zoe Jakes began her belly dance journey in 2000 and is known as a pioneer of the tribal fusion style. Zoe’s signature technique of dance incorporates pop and lock isolations, elements of classical indian dance, jazz foot work and modern lines, with abundances of folk belly dance inspiration.
Zoe is a founding member of the electronic and world fusion group Beats Antique, where she composes music and is the lead dancer. Since Beats Antique’s 2007 inception, Zoe has been renowned around the world for her unique form of belly dance.
