BEATS ANTIQUE, an oakland based group featuring ZOE JAKES, DAVID SATORI, AND SIDECAR TOMMY, have stumbled down the rabbit hole and emerged anew on the other side. COLLIDE is a product of that absurd adventure, forging a curious alliance between middle eastern traditions and potent west coast circus, underground hip hop, breakbeat brass band, downtempo, glitch and dubstep. BEATS ANTIQUE'S second album has brought the paradox of electro-acoustic music into the future.

If you cross the Mississippi we will definitely promote you in Cincinnati, There’s a big tribal community here, we can guarantee you’ll be playing to a big house full of revved up dancing crazies.

  3. Ajax says:

Can the Northeast expect some love sometime in the next year?

  4. Jonah D says:

What Mark said. Come to Cincinnati, please! You will have a full house of very grateful dancers and fire spinners. We love your sound here, you’ve ruined the rest of music for us…really there is nothing as good out there as you guys (in respect to music for poi spinning)

  5. Edz says:

Loved your groove at the Les Claypool show at Tahoe and have been hooked ever since. I look forward to seeing and hearing at the Wanderlust Music Festival.

  6. Lauren says:

    Hey,
So I’m sort of confused about where and when you guys are playing in New Orleans this tour. Your site said One Eyed Jacks, but OEJ’s site didnt have a time or any mention of the show. Now your site says 12 Bar on Fulton, and they don’t have a site, but when you go to the Jazz Fest sites they say you are still playing at OEJ’s. Clarification?
Thanks, you guys friggin rock, and I don’t want to miss the show!

  7. Kayla A. says:

    cheers!

  41. Allen says:

Saw you with Les claypool in Flagstaff, AZ and was crazy excited when I saw you were touring, but as I read through the dates and venues, I noted a depressing fact. There’s no show posted for Arizona. I live 2 hours away from flagstaff and I’d gladly call in sick for work and drive there in an instant if it meant I got to see you guys live again and I’ve got about 6 or 7 friends that I’ve either shown you guys to or were with me at the Claypool show, that would do that too. Come to Arizona again. Please

  42. Allen says:

But enough of my negativity. Honestly, you guys are really incredible. You have a truly unique sounds that I find highly admirable. Too much music these days sounds like something I’ve heard already and I think you guys do a great job at staying the hell out of that box. Congratulations on your achievement

  43. Troy Cobb says:

We love you in Atlanta! I have a venue and full evening of tribal arts ready to go if we can get you here. I was working through your old booking agent earlier this year, but haven’t been able to get your new agent in Austin to give me a ring back.
